Indulgence To Ward Off the Blahs

I had an okay day.  I taught some students.  I got some paperless paperwork done.  I knocked a couple of things off of my to do list.  I talked to my girlfriend.  I watched some cool “maker” videos on YouTube.  I ate.  I remain healthy.  Despite all of this, I just felt kind of …..blah.  Maybe it is the lockdown.  Maybe online working is becoming repetitious and tedious.  Maybe the news and the politicians are getting me down.  I don’t know.

So, I turned to ice-cream for a pick me up.  It’s no substitute for a bike ride, but it is going to have to do for today.  I am calling it Today’s Perfect Moment, but if I am being honest, it think the flavor was perfect, and it just gets the title by extension.

Hubby had a little pot of salted caramel for dessert at lunch. I find it very useful to keep these in the freezer.

I don’t know why but I feel like eating a lot of sweets lately… including ice cream which I’m not usually all that fond of. Maybe it’s all the scary stuff on the news.

I have a tub of cherry chocolate in the freezer but I don’t want it. 😦

Nothing some good old ice cream can’t fix! Through this pandemic I’ve ate more of it than I had in the past two years. 🤣 Chocolate & PB is one of my fave flavor combos, too! Yum!
