Celebrating When You Can

20200322_170827I have to admit, being shut in besides a little walk has made it hard to find Perfect Moments.  I came back from Colombia and people wanted me to self isolate.  Since Colombia had only one case the day I left (and not near me) I thought it a bit harsh.  However, I stayed home and kept my interactions to a minimum.  Now, two weeks later and still no symptoms I feel like that bullet has been dodged. However, since everything is closed down and I am forced to work from home, I am still finding it hard to find Perfect Moments.

Thankfully, this weekend, I was able to celebrate Nowruz with my girlfriend.  We didn’t do it up big time, but she cooked a delicious traditional meal for the two of us.  We also celebrated a little late, but better late than never.

About Anthony

I am: equal parts rebel, romantic and shockingly average Joe. a writer trapped inside of an ESL teacher's body. an introverted attention seeker. a teacher who hopes one day to be called "Captain, my Captain." an intellectual who can do some very dumb things. a person whose Japan experience, despite being so long ago, still exerts a strong influence upon him. a lover of books, music, beer, hockey and Pizza.
