Colombia Bound

By the time most of you read this, I will either be on the way to the airport or actually on the plane.  Yes, it is Colombia trip time.

I’ve done my packing, done my research, and checked stuff off my checklist.  However, I just don’t feel ready.  I don’t know if I am taking enough stuff or too much stuff.  I don’t know if I am ready or not ready.  I’ve read up on where I am going, but I wonder if I have done enough.

My girlfriend asked me if I was excited and I answered honestly that I wasn’t.  The trip still sounds amazing, but I think I have had too much time to think about it.  Usually I finish work and I have to be on the plane the next day.  Leaving on a Tuesday is a rarity for me.  Having an entire weekend before leaving is almost unheard of.  It gives me too much time to second guess myself.

I am sure I will have a great time and I will blog when I can.  For those photographically inclined, please check my instagram located at the lower right side of this blog or follow it.

. We all have those “what if this happens” thoughts before an adventure. Fifteen minutes into the trip they usually vanish. Have fun

Enjoy! If you get the chance, take the steam strain to the salt mine.
