Nature Moots the Discussion

20200206_091304

I witnessed a curious interaction between two of my students.   The first said that winter wasn’t so bad.  The second answered that it wasn’t the winter he had experienced the previous year.

Both students are from warmer climates than this one, and it is always fun to listen to them talk about the weather.  They have already realized that their apps don’t actually work. The weather is just not that predictable here.

I guess it’s a moot point, since this is what I woke up to.

About Anthony

I am: equal parts rebel, romantic and shockingly average Joe. a writer trapped inside of an ESL teacher's body. an introverted attention seeker. a teacher who hopes one day to be called "Captain, my Captain." an intellectual who can do some very dumb things. a person whose Japan experience, despite being so long ago, still exerts a strong influence upon him. a lover of books, music, beer, hockey and Pizza.

On my end, I warned my boyfriend before we moved to Victoria that it rained a lot here. BUT I DON’T REMEMBER IT RAINING THIS MUCH. It felt like it rained nearly every day in January, except for the three days that it snowed.
