What Would Marshall McLuhan Say?

20191010_121300I don’t get into graffiti. I don’t go crazy over Banksy, though I suspect there is something there worth looking into–maybe when I am older.

The other day, I spotted this piece of graffiti on a TTC subway. The subways are usually pretty clean and while graffiti is common on overpasses and exterior walls, the interior has mostly escaped the scourge–they aren’t on time and there are many faults within the system, but this isn’t one of them.

I might not agree with the medium, but I so like the message.

About Anthony

I am: equal parts rebel, romantic and shockingly average Joe. a writer trapped inside of an ESL teacher's body. an introverted attention seeker. a teacher who hopes one day to be called "Captain, my Captain." an intellectual who can do some very dumb things. a person whose Japan experience, despite being so long ago, still exerts a strong influence upon him. a lover of books, music, beer, hockey and Pizza.

The graffiti painters probably don’t ride because it isn’t on time.
