Food and Sleep

After a long week at work, a decent Saturday morning ride, and a bunch of Saturday afternoon errands I really was only thinking of a Sunday morning sleep-in. What I got was even better than that.

I don’t normally sleep nearly enough, but I seem to manage. I do know that when I really have a bad sleep deficit, I am liable to catch something.  Hopefully, I haven’t gone too far this time and managed to recover my sleep.

In addition to significant sleep time with bicycle and travel dreams, I got a surprise. My girlfriend made me a special dish called Albaloo Polo.  This is a dish of rice with sour cherries and chicken.  It was quite delicious and I was happy to try something new.

I hope I am not making anyone hungry.  I can’t help it that Perfect Moments often involve food.

I must go to the one Persian restaurant in Kingston where they do fairly decent Persian dishes.
