After sitting down at our table, the waitress mentioned that they had an all-you-can-eat taco special. I didn’t need too much time for deliberation. I was sold.
Despite that great opening, Today’s Perfect Moment is not about the tacos. They were delicious, and they probably should be the title holder. The only thing is that I always have and always will put a greater value on friendship than food. Luckily, there are times like these when the two combine effortlessly.
My friend Chris was in the neighbourhood and we decided to meet up and hash out life and all of its intricacies. We did this another night recently, but it doesn’t hurt to go over it more often. As is often the case, a lot can happen in a day, so obviously, a lot more can happen in a month or two.
This is not the place to explain every single thing that we talked about. Rest assured, we covered most topics and keeping the drinking down means that we won’t forget them and have to go over them again the next time we meet.
What a teaser of a post! No juicy gossip or tidbits of wisdom, a joke or bon mot? That said, all you can eat tacos? I’d put my no flour rule on hold for that! I want to go to there. Oh, congrats on also being mentioned in Milly’s blog! Pretty cool honor, right?
An absolute honour.
Also please don’t ruin tacos with that guy’s name! (You can’t.)
I didn’t mean it like that. His name ruined a good word
Yeah you’re right. The word was here before and will be here long after.
