The Trees at Dawn

Today’s Perfect Moment was seeing the sunrise just begin as I walked to the bus stop. It had been a long winter and this was the first day that I boarded the bus with a small amount of sunlight.  Could winter actually be over?

I took some pictures of the trees on my walk. These were taken from roughly the same spot at roughly the same time.  One was facing east and the other facing southwest.  I am surprised at how different the pictures were.

I am glad this Perfect Moment happened early in the day because my commute home was horrible. An incident happened on my bus that made me 30 minutes late.  Apparently, there was a scuffle between a young man and a much older man.  I didn’t see what had happened, but I think spitting was involved.  Numerous people had their cell phones out recording the whole thing.  The police were called and the bus was stopped for about twenty minutes.  The bus police also showed up to do whatever it was that they could.

This dramatic end to my working day contrasted my serene morning walk completely

I used to take public transit all the time & was delayed by a couple fights, too. It’s the worst. I’m glad you get to see the sun in the morning now though. 🙂
