For my entire life, Christmas has been the commercial beast that people complain about. Whether it what used to sell toys or gadgets (adult toys), whether it featured a coke inspired Santa Claus or a group of elves, whether it came with a modern soundtrack or not is not really the point.
Deep, somewhere buried beneath all the hastily discarded wrapping paper, instruction booklets, chocolate wrappers, and well intentioned greeting cards is the real point to Christmas. Somewhere beyond the dollar signs are some true solid values we should not lose sight of.
Family
Love
Respect
Peace
Forgiveness
Charity
Tolerance
Warmth of heart
For anyone who can get behind these things (and the other positive core values that I have forgotten in my rush to get this written), I want to wish you a
Merry Christmas, brother. Getting Mission Impossible: Fallout wasn’t all bad. Chuckle.
I can get behind your whole list, Anthony, 100%. Merry Christmas to you, too!
A perfect set of values. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas! Wishing peace, love and happiness, and a successful new year to all.
