Wisdom From The Chocolate Wrapper

Many of the things I consume are littered with words of wisdom. At one time, only fortune cookies contained useful bon mots.  These days I am finding them in my cough drops, on my cereal box, and today I found one inside a Bacio chocolate wrapper.  Perhaps the universe is trying to tell me something.  I wonder if I will have the courage to listen.

Before you think I am taking the easy road and declaring this Today’s Perfect Moment, you will need to reconsider. They’ve been putting these “messages of love” in the chocolates since they started making them.  Additionally, it wasn’t the message that was impressive (though my message was a huge improvement over the one the person sitting next to me got).  The impressive part for me was the fact that the message came in several languages though I feel that the English translation was likely to be the weakest.  Since I work in a place where very nearly everyone knows a second language, it wasn’t difficult to find someone to utter the words in Italian.  And I am quite confident when I say that they sound so much better that way.

I’ve got my own theories as to what this piece of wisdom means, but I would be happy to hear yours.

I think since it’s chocolate, if you should eat it instead of deny yourself of it. ?
