Life Echoes A Book

On the bus today, I noticed the young woman beside me had a tattoo. I am fascinated by this and asked her about it.  Usually, when I do this, the people are very enthusiastic to talk about it.  Today, however, she seemed reluctant, and while not irritated, I definitely got the message to stop asking her about it.

That’s fine. Everyone has the right to privacy. I didn’t speak to her again for the rest of the trip and divided my time between my book (The Marco Effect by Jussi Adler Olsen) and some music.  This means I was unable to get a picture of her tattoo.

What struck me so much was that she had chosen a dragon. That’s right, I met a girl with a dragon tattoo.
