Setting New Goals, and a Thank You or Two.
Honestly, I wasn’t going to write this post on this particular subject, but it has been a less than stellar day of banking mishaps, missed work opportunities, and missed social opportunities on the subway, which if I was feeling better … Continue reading
Green Tea KitKats and more
My student brought in two bags of green tea KitKats today. I was delighted, as were some of the students. Those who had never experienced them before were a bit confused. While all agreed that the original was good, the … Continue reading
Making Someone’s Day
Today was haircut day. And while I did get the most attractive hair stylist, that is not Today’s Perfect Moment. Also, she did not manage to make me look like Brad Pitt, so that isn’t the Perfect Moment either. The … Continue reading

And So I Walked
The therapy for leg, according to my doctor, is walk. I was feeling a bit of cabin fever, so that is what I did. As it turns out, it was a beautiful, not like winter at all, kind of day. … Continue reading

A Respite from Winter
I have to explain that I really do like winter. After autumn, it is my favourite season. It provides the chance to skiing and maybe even do some horseshoeing, However, I have to report that Today’s Perfect Moment is the … Continue reading

Friendship
Recently, one of the blogs I have started following recently, wrote a piece on the changing of friendship in your twenties. (Rosie Culture) Having long since left that glorious age (at least physically, because mentally and emotionally, I am still 25) … Continue reading

Terrible Moment
This blog is not very political. The causes it champions are all related to my personal happiness. However, sometimes, it needs to stretch beyond that. Early this morning, I turned on the TV and I got to see a powerful … Continue reading

Learning About Myself
Yesterday’s Perfect Moment is a subtle one for me and required a bit of thinking. I was in an ESL seminar yesterday. It was a small group owing to various shifts are school works on. I knew all the people, … Continue reading
