Becky at beckysopenbook was kind enough to nominate me for the Sunshine Blogger award. Even kinder, she did not burden me with a bunch of rules and regulations. She merely asked for a sunshine story and some pictures. How could I refuse?
First the pictures. (Thailand, Cambodia, and areas north of Toronto)
The Story
Years ago (in days of old, when magic ruled the earth), actually the early nineties, I found myself on a beach in Japan late one Saturday afternoon. Drinking with gaijin would soon commence, but we waited for the sun to go down. I was the only one to take a picture of that sunset.
Boring story? Nostalgic for me.
I love your last image best because of the story that accompanies it, Anthony. Not boring — not at all! 🙂
Sad to admit, the story and the images are not related.
The photograph I took on the beach is downstairs in my basement. I didn’t take the time to scan it.
That picture is from Siem Reap in Cambodia, and is the moat that surrounds Angkor Wat
Sorry for any confusion.
Sorry, I got my images in the wrong order. That was a sunrise as I was going to work one early morning.
Beautiful imagery! Thank you!
