Vietnamese Coffee Morning

There is something great about a day when I can drink my coffee slowly and reflect on the days past and the days ahead.  Today is Remembrance Day, so reflecting is definitely needed.

This is so different from mornings when I am hurriedly gulping my coffee before I have to catch the bus to work.  I am not sure I even taste the coffee on those mornings.

Today, perhaps because I will be heading there again, I decided to break out my Vietnamese coffee beans.  I can’t be sure, but the coffee grinder definitely hummed a slightly different tune as it readied the beans for the coffee maker.  The aroma of the beans was strong as I inhaled.

I hope Cambodian coffee is just as delicious.
