Winter Makes Its Presence Felt

Despite planning an early (pre) winter escape, mother nature had other plans for me.  On my way home, in the dark, on a bus, it started to snow.  Yes, it was forecast, but I rarely put any faith in those things.  I thought, perhaps a few flurries.

I awoke to actual snow.  It is melting now, and may not last the day, but it is clear that winter is coming.  I take solace in the fact that this means Christmas and ski season.
