Bananas Are Not Safe Anywhere

Just when you thought the rants about bananas was over, I discover that no bananas are safe. All bananas are targets for advertising revenue.  The brand is unimportant.  Everyone is doing this.  Soon it will be the apples, then it will be the mangos…..then, probably all the fruit in all the world.  The things will probably start to grow with the advertising on it.

At least this one seems to be an internal promotion for what I hope is a Halloween costume.

If this is new news to you, please see rant 1 and rant 2. The photographs are awesome…if by awesome I mean blurry and out of focus, but still frightening..

About Anthony

I am: equal parts rebel, romantic and shockingly average Joe. a writer trapped inside of an ESL teacher's body. an introverted attention seeker. a teacher who hopes one day to be called "Captain, my Captain." an intellectual who can do some very dumb things. a person whose Japan experience, despite being so long ago, still exerts a strong influence upon him. a lover of books, music, beer, hockey and Pizza.

Okay, I checked it out, and you’re right. It is pretty good. Did you submit your name? What is really surprising is that this is the 6th annual contest. Where have I been for the last five years?

  2. leggypeggy says:

Come to Australia where we have sticker-free bananas.
