Today’s Perfect Moment is simply tonkatsu.  There’s a lot of great Japanese food out there.  I could have picked many other’s to talk about.  What you should know is that the presentation of this meal was much better than it looks in my photo.  You see, I couldn’t wait to dig in.  I probably should have taken the picture first…or just taken one from the internet.  The fact that I didn’t do either of these things should make it pretty clear.

I went for lunch today at Jtown.  No candy haul.  No interesting snacks.  No strange drinks.  No green tea flavoured anything.  Just lunch.

  2. Gotta say, tonkatsu’s one of the dishes I deeply and dearly miss from my life in Japan. But somehow it doesn’t look right on that white plate.
