And She Rocked

Catching up on Perfect Moments seems to be my thing lately. Your patience is appreciated.  I had time to reflect on them, so perhaps my words will be more eloquent, or at least for myself, they will have a slightly different relevance.

Friday night saw me out on the town, having some drinks, doing a lot of talking, keeping one eye on the NHL draft, and listening to some music.

Sometimes, I don’t find bar bands all that appealing. Maybe the songs aren’t my thing, or maybe the playing just sounds a bit too loose.  This, however was not one of the cases.  The singer was quite good and, more importantly, the guitar player rocked….and she rocked hard.

I must have been in quite a social mood because I talked to both of them (to compliment them on their music) and they were very friendly.   Easy to see why that was Friday’s Perfect Moment.

About Anthony

I am: equal parts rebel, romantic and shockingly average Joe. a writer trapped inside of an ESL teacher's body. an introverted attention seeker. a teacher who hopes one day to be called "Captain, my Captain." an intellectual who can do some very dumb things. a person whose Japan experience, despite being so long ago, still exerts a strong influence upon him. a lover of books, music, beer, hockey and Pizza.
