Mother Nature’s other Plan

April winter 006

I had plans to get out and go riding today. Mother Nature seemed to have other ideas.

Unlike Bri, who would be very happy to see this Spring snowfall, I was less than pleased. I have some cold weather wear, but my bike is not equipped for this kind of weather or terrain.

As I look out now, some of it is melting and by next weekend the situation should have resolved itself. Of courfatbikese, then all I will have to worry about is rain.

Perhaps next winter I will have to get myself a winter bike. Some of those “fat bikes” look pretty cool.  Also, cycling with goggles on would be kind of fun.  I guess that means I will have an afternoon of internet searches and research.

  1. Cycling googles now there’s a gap in the market, no offense but I have trouble with cyclists since they speed by you and don’t look where they are going. I kindly let a cyclist pass in a narrow walk way not so much as a thank you, my dad’s right I should have pushed him off his bike teach him some manners lol.

Let me be clear, I do not cycle on the sidewalk, or on paths made for walking. Also, I would make sure to give warning or slow down when using mixed paths.
That being said, when walking on a mixed use path, be careful when playing loud music and not being aware of the surroundings. We all have to do our part.
As for not thanking someone….I am Canadian. Thank you’s are in our genetic makeup.

Also, I am pretty sure there are cycling goggles. Cycling accessories are a huge market–including trailers for dogs, and a whole host of other things. You’d be surprised.
