Even More Proof that My Cat is Smarter Than I Am.

Harumi's Visit 013

As I mentioned in my previous post, the past Sunday was the day when we changed our clocks here in Canada.  As result, the knowledge that my cat is smarter than I am was reconfirmed.

I feed my cat twice a day, approximately twelve hours apart. This works well on weekdays when I have to wake up early to go to work.  This doesn’t work so well on weekends when I want to sleep in.  It is not a rare event to have a fantastic dream interrupted by my cat head butting me awake and demanding that he be fed.  He can even be more subtle when he wants to.  He will sit on the sheet and increase the pressure on my chest.  I wake up and wonder just how smart my cat is.

So now, when we change the clocks, you would think that the cat would not be able to easily change with that. If you thought that, well,  you would be wrong.  It took him one day to get back on schedule.  One day.

At least I got to sleep in one day.
