Cat Moments

Harumi's Visit 013

When it comes to picking Today’s Perfect Moment, I usually find it incredibly easy or incredibly hard. The incredibly easy days are when there is one clear moment, or one clear thing.  Usually I fixate on it as a source of energy for the whole day.  When it is hard, it could be that I need to reflect a lot before realizing what moment was perfect.  It could also be like today when I had 3 moments that I could have explored for perfection.  I am not going to bore you by writing about all 3, but I will have to make a choice.

Perhaps the last one is the best one.

I was sitting on my couch, minding my own business, when my cat decided to curl up in my lap. We have had a tense relationship over the last couple of days because I tried to take him to the vet.  He was too smart and too wily to get in the cat carrier, and has eyed me with suspicion ever since.  It was nice that decided to let go of his suspicions, if only to get my body heat.

About Anthony

I am: equal parts rebel, romantic and shockingly average Joe. a writer trapped inside of an ESL teacher's body. an introverted attention seeker. a teacher who hopes one day to be called "Captain, my Captain." an intellectual who can do some very dumb things. a person whose Japan experience, despite being so long ago, still exerts a strong influence upon him. a lover of books, music, beer, hockey and Pizza.

I saw this the other day – – and thought it was pretty funny. You might like it.

I checked it out. There are some funny moments in there. As for right now…I tried again (unsuccessfully) to get the cat in the car carrier for a trip to the vet. He resisted stronger. I have resorted to mental telepathy, but it isn’t going as well as I hoped.
Thanks for the link. Have an awesome day.
