At a loss for Words

There is no Perfect Moment today. How could there be?  I awoke to the news that David Bowie is dead.

While most of the students were unaffected, most of the teachers spent parts of break and preparation time talking about him and his music. Everyone did a “My favourite song is…” moment.  Others spoke about  his talent to evolve and create new and diverse music.

All I have to say is

Thank you for the music. It was already in heavy rotation on my CD player and MP3 player, but I have a feeling it will be heard much more this week.

About Anthony

I am: equal parts rebel, romantic and shockingly average Joe. a writer trapped inside of an ESL teacher's body. an introverted attention seeker. a teacher who hopes one day to be called "Captain, my Captain." an intellectual who can do some very dumb things. a person whose Japan experience, despite being so long ago, still exerts a strong influence upon him. a lover of books, music, beer, hockey and Pizza.
