Lessons Not Learned

I seem to have made a big mistake.  I have a couple of other blogs (3, actually).  They are not on WordPress, but blogger.  Maybe someday I will migrate them over here…. but I  digress.

Anyway, I guess I mistyped the link, so anyone who checked out my jackofallhobby page got a link to a 2012 post.  The person has a very similarly named blog as mine.  Mine is jackofallhobby and the other one is jackofallhobbies.  Just so you know, the background to my blog is blue, not black.  I was hoping people would see my blog and enjoy it, but now I wonder if anyone has seen it.

I started using WordPress recently, and I am not up on all the subtle uses of the platform.  I want to promote all my blogs, but seem to be having trouble doing so.  I guess I should spend a little time today working on it.

Now, I have changed it in my settings, but it doesn’t seem to have made any changes on my past comments or my current ones.  I have checked everything, but despite having  a different profile, it is not working.  Anyone clicking on my gravatar in the old posts is going to end up somewhere else.  Frustrating.

I will try commenting in my own post. Hopefully, the changes will have taken place.

Okay, all new comments will go to the right place. Unfortunately, all old comments are still directed to the wrong place. What a huge mistake. I am sure I will be able to laugh about it someday…. someday.
